Association-based approach to Web page recommendation

Promoting the recall and precision of Web search engine is an important task for Web mining research. In the paper, an approach to Web page recommendation based on association is presented, which aims to produce recommendatory Web page links for user based on information associated tightly with users´ query. The meaning and variety of association are introduced, and the method to realize Web page recommendation based on the association and generated associational information related with user´s query is described. At last, the effectivity of the method is presented by a case study as the relevant experiment result.
