  • Abstract
The method of locating and tracking animals using electronic tags have been in practice for a very long time and has breached various economical as well as technical constraints by its simplicity and reliability, while being based on strong technological and mathematical background. Even though advancing trends contribute to the improvement of this technique, they mostly confine to hardware upgrades or data post-processing, while relying firmly on mature methods for sampling and recording. This paper discusses a better technique to sample and record light data, utilizing only a fraction of the recording capacity as well as power than that required for traditional, periodic sampling methods.
