  • Abstract
    This article describes method of designing specialised aperiodic excitation signal in time domain. Purpose is enhancement of fault diagnosis of analogue electronic circuits. There are investigated single parametric (soft) faults. Additionally, a wavelet transform has been applied for further improvement. A genetic algorithm has been utilised as an optimisation technique. Obtained results are compared with efficiency of fault diagnosis with basic aperiodic excitations: Dirac pulse, unit step and linear function.
