Abstract
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system is adapted frequently in the indoor localization, among which LANDMARC algorithm is a classic method based on the Received Signal Strength Index (RSSI). To enhance its performance of accuracy and stability during the process of locating especially in the flexible environment, a novel adaptive indoor positioning algorithm is proposed in this paper. The precision of the new positioning approach with the original LANDMARC algorithm has been compared in our research. Experimental results show that our method can improve both the accuracy and the stability of positioning in the flexible surroundings.
