Abstract
As mobile devices have many limited hardware and bandwidth resources about multimedia streaming, mass data processing and highly complex computing may accelerate power consumption and network, etc. The limits cause unsmooth playback of multimedia video. When the concept of cloud computing arises and is applied in various networking services, mobile devices could distribute complicated computing loadings and content storages to cloud networks, which return results back after completing complicated computing, in order to reduce the loading of mobile devices. For multimedia streaming services of mobile devices, the design of highly efficient multimedia cloud computing is challenging. This in this study, cloud computing is applied to calculate adjustable video encoding streaming based on mobile device hardware characteristics, decoding characteristics, current use environments, and communication between cloud computing and mobile devices.
