Abstract :
A new generalized multi-way PLS (GMPLS) algorithm is proposed to build the predictive model of the Mooney-viscosity of the mixing rubber as an alternative of the rigorous mechanism model. This predictive model is optimized by the variable-selecting power of the GMPLS algorithm. More importantly, at the base of this model, it is possible to realize the intelligent rubber-discharging control to make up the drawback of the generally being used fixed parametric rubber discharge methods. The results obtained from the application in Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber Company confirmed that the quality of mixture has been improved remarkably with this intelligent rubber discharging control.
