Abstract :
This paper mainly studies cooperative design of transshipment in distributed inventory systems under decentralized control. Simulation models based on agents is established to simulate the transshipment cooperation policies of the systems. The efficiency of two different policies is compared by simulation and optimization experiments. According to the result of the experiments, the policy of preventive transshipment is found to be more effectual than the other one. But the effectuality of this policy depends on the accurateness of demand forecast.
