Abstract
Mashups is an emerging technology that enables users to create a new application based on a composition of contents retrieved from external services or applications. Mashup Platform allows non-programmer end-users to mash-up information sources and services to meet their information needs. However, with the increasing number of services, information sources and complex operations like filtering and joining, the automation of mashup is needed. In this paper, we designed an E-Commerce Mashup Platform for generating higher quality mashup services with user´s preferences in less time and in an automatic way. The platform consists of an Orchestration Component and several Atomic Service Components. The platform is flexible and extensible thanks to the SOA based atomic reusable and sharable service components. And it employs efficient P2P interaction between two components. Implementation example demonstrates that the system possess effective capabilities in composition time, ease-of-use and usefulness.
