Abstract :
To achieve secure communication, two channels are required in traditional secure communication based on master-slave chaotic synchronization. The encrypted information is transmitted in one channel, and the signals used to synchronize the master-slave system are transmitted in the other one. The conventional scheme has a disadvantage that channel resources are not exploited efficiently. Therefore, a new system is proposed which uses a time division multiplexing technology to transmit information and synchronization signals in one channel, so that the efficiency of utilization of the channel resources doubles. The key issue studied in the paper is the allocation of time slots in this system, a detailed analysis is given, and simulation results are included to demonstrate the feasibility of this communication scheme in real applications.
