  • Abstract
The control equation was presented after analyzing air pressure conditions of passively controlled anti-rolling tank, whose air valve was connected to an air crossover pipe. And then the mathematical model of passively controlled anti-rolling tank was developed on the basis of theories of passive anti-rolling tank. The optimal control algorithm was proposed according to this mathematical model. The simulation results show that stabilization effect is the best when adopting optimal control algorithm in the non-resonance range. The passively controlled anti-rolling tank can reduce more roll magnitudes than those of passive anti-rolling tank.
