            Abstract : 
Illumination of two sides of a wedge is quite common scenario for building corners in microcellular environment. Holm´s heuristic solution for the diffraction coefficient, which is an extension to Luebbers´ solution, is inaccurate in this region. This work avoids limitations of Holm´s diffraction coefficient in the illumination region when the source illuminates both faces of a wedge. The improved diffraction coefficient gives a result that is very close to Maliuzhinets´ rigorous diffraction coefficient. The improvement is valid for parallel and perpendicular polarizations.
