Abstract :
The most common design of distribution systems is the ´radial´ (single source with no loops) configuration. This paper discusses some of the impacts caused by the interconnection of dispersed generation (DG) to a radial distribution system. Special considerations are placed on harmonics, loading concerns, voltage flicker, and voltage regulation.
