Abstract
This paper presents an analytical approach to characterize a flux concentration permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSM) with fractional slot concentrated winding (FSCW). The very particular configuration of the studied machine leads the authors to associate a fictive winding to the stator coils in order to be able to determine the Ld and Lq inductances. Experimental measurements, done on the prototype at standstill, allow adjusting the analytical model parameters.
