Abstract :
Simulation results for an 8×8 Manhattan street network with input buffers are presented. Performance data are presented for four different routing strategies, with six local traffic rates, and thirteen input buffer sizes. It is shown that a routing strategy based on packet age yields the best performance. The effect of input buffer size on blocking probability is emphasized
