Abstract
This paper presents a scanning heterodyne I/Q-interferometer scheme which can simultaneously map the phase and the amplitude change while scanning the probe beam over the surface. A commercial I/Q-demodulator in RF-band is used for demodulating the induced phase and amplitude change of the heterodyne beat signal between the probe and reference beams.
