Abstract
Despite the widespread application of the Internet for higher education purpose, only few model based method are developed for virtual classroom functions. The authors of this paper studied the advantages and difficulties of introduction of model based distance learning into every day higher education practice. They analyzed actual issues and methodology of virtual classrooms considering demands by higher education for teaching procedures, programs, and materials. Primary objective of this work was to reveal circumstances that support definition of model objects for this special purpose.
