Abstract
The paper proposes a new approach in which artificial neural network (ANN) is employed to find out the sensitivity coefficients of motor loads; active and reactive; in terms of voltage and frequency by using readily available nameplate data. The. results are then used in a static type aggregate load modeling algorithm. Promising results are demonstrated.
