Summary form only given. The study of magnetization reversal dynamics in magnetic nanostructures is of considerable interest from both fundamental and technological point of view. Of particular interest is the propagation of a domain wall (DW) in submicron structures, where defects introduced by the patterning processes can have a strong influence.
