            Abstract : 
Ground penetrating radar (GPR) typically operates in an electromagnetic near field situation. The electromagnetic fields in this region are in general not plane TEM waves. We investigate an electromagnetic full-wave modeling approach in the time-domain for the analysis of GPR signals.
