    Summary form only given. The anisotropic magnetoresistance is determined in a number of amorphous Fe/sub 90-x/Mn/sub x/Zr/sub 10/ reentrant alloys with x=0, 4, 8 and 12 by performing magnetoresistance measurements in fields up to 50kOe in the temperature range between 4.2 K and 300 K. The measurements show that the spontaneous resistive anisotropy (SRA) first appears at a temperature close to the ferromagnetic ordering temperature. The relation between the SRA and magnetization is examined. The two current conduction model provides satisfactory and straightforward explanation for the observed results but also conclusive evidence for weak itinerant ferromagnetism. The weak itinerant-like behavior is also supported by the high field susceptibility data.
