Abstract :
This paper introduces the Calq system for web-based signal processing experiments. The theory is that this system can perform several simple to moderate operations in a reasonably small amount of time on a modern computer running a web-browser. A set of test programs include programming constructs like loops and conditional statements, but also use convolution and plotting. Each test program is tested several times, the results are checked, and the elapsed time is recorded. This paper shows that the tests complete in a small, often negligible, amount of time.
