Assessment on the ecosystem services of different forest types at Huoditang forest region

In order to analyze and compare the diversity of ecosystem services in different forest types, according to the characteristics of structure and the process of forest ecosystem, assessment methods of the ecosystem services based on the combination of the forest management inventory data and long-term fixed observation data were discussed and the ecosystem services of Huoditang forest region were estimated. The results showed that the value of ecosystem services at Huoditang forest region was about 4751 yuan/ha.a. There had a big difference in different forest types and the services of broadleaf species were higher than the conifer species. The value of Populus ecosystem services was the highest about 8168 yuan/ha.a. The value of Abies fargesii ecosystem services was the lowest about 2653 yuan/ha.a. This research studies the difference of ecosystem services of different forest types and provides some references for forest management.
