            Abstract : 
In this paper, the development of a linearly polarized microstrip array antenna with a gain of 34 dB at 12 GHz is presented. The antenna is applied for receiving direct broadcasts from a satellite. This antenna is parallel and series fed by microstrip transmission lines, and as a result it has high efficiency and low cross-polarization
