The distributed neural system-the structure and characteristics

A system is considered which results from the development of the general problem of the creation of an amplifier of intellectual possibilities of an investigator solving a complicated professional problem under conditions of a lack of knowledge and data. It is called the `Partner System´ (PS). When one considers the transformation of the program model for an IBM computer into PS, which is suited for practical use, it becomes clear that there is a deep similarity between the PS project and investigations in neurocomputing, the realization of which can become useful not only for creation of the PS, but also for neurocomputing itself.
