Abstract :
The European network for Intelligent Forecasting Systems (IFS) will bring together universities, manufacturers and end-users for the particular research objective of intelligent forecasting. The network structure, the national subprojects and horizontal themes are described. The project featured in this paper is forecasting for refineries and power systems. An example of a German electrical power network is given
