Abstract :
Summary form only given. The authors report on an investigation of the magnetocrystalline anisotropy in the series of SmFe/sub 11-x/Co/sub x/TiH/sub y/ single crystals (x=0,1,2,3,4,5,6; 0.56/spl les/y/spl les/0.8). X-ray diffraction performed on the hydrogenated samples showed that all the samples have ThMn/sub 12/ type structure. The lattice parameters and the unit cell volume were slightly changed in comparison with the host samples. Magnetization isotherms present a FOMP transition in case of low cobalt concentration. Our measurements show that the field of FOMP shifts to the high field range.
