Abstract :
A microcontroller-based parameter estimator for a converter-driven DC motor is implemented within the framework of general hybrid orthogonal functions (GHOF). The use of GHOF enables parameter estimation directly in continuous-time model. Modification of the estimator algorithm suitable for on-line estimation using the microcontroller is discussed. The experimental results and simulation results are reported
