Abstract :
The quality of the image being captured in the current mobile devices is made acceptable using the combination of image processing algorithms. While processing these algorithms, it utilizes lots of memory space. In order to reduce the memory, we are moving to software pipeline, which operates at low cost and also maximizes the flexibility than the traditional hardware pipeline. In our approach, we are using line based buffer software pipeline, which operates at low cost and enhance the quality of the image. The implemented algorithm will work individually and the results alone will feed into the next process. This reduces the processing time significantly in each step. The quality of the image is enhanced using image enhancement algorithms and noise reduction algorithm. The implemented framework reduces memory consumption and also enhances the performance.
