Abstract
In wireless sensor networks (WSN), location information acquisition is critical to guarantee their performance. This paper presents a hybrid positioning method in WSN with high precision. Reference nodes transmit linear frequency modulation continuous wave (FMCW), general nodes estimate the range difference to reference nodes based on the received signals´ frequency difference. The location information can be obtained by combining the Fang´s analytical algorithm and Taylor iteration method. The simulation results prove that the new method enjoys high precision and moderate computational complexity.
