Abstract :
We describe a 230 nm tunable fiber optical parametric oscillator (FOPO) using an 8 ps pump laser. The FOPO generates 2-4 ps pulses with conversion efficiency as high as 20%. The output spectrum exhibits power and synchronization-dependent broadening.
