Abstract
The problem of quality video measurement can be faced from different approximations, starting from full- reference (FR) and no-reference (NR) according to the availability of the original signal. We have developed a Matlab code to implement a user interface with three different sets of parameters of video quality. These sets of parameters are classical parameters, American National Standards Institute (ANSI) parameters and Institute for Telecommunication Sciences (ITS) parameters. We included several distortion tasks to obtain degraded (jerkiness, blocking, blur and noise and temporal edge noise) video sequences to evaluate the goodness of the implemented model and to compare among them.
