  • Abstract
It will be a good method which is fit for our country to treat the sewage sludge as composting materials. However, an effective process of Sludge Disintegration must be the key precondition for aerobic composting. A hydrodynamic cavitation system and two aerobic digestion reactors were designed and made. The sludge from an MBR(membrane biologic reactor) which has been treating sanitary wastewater was considered as the sample for experiments. Sample1s were integrated by the hydrodynamic cavitation system first then put into the Aerobic Digestion Reactor 1, Sample 2 was put into the ADR without any pretreatment. According to the physical model experiment work in the lab, the conclusions could be drawn, that as a pre-process, hydraulic cavitaiton method can make the sludge be dewatered easier, and accelerate the digestion reaction by twice. In addition, the hydraulic cavitaiton device is simple, ready for industrialization, and without secondary pollution.
