Abstract :
Regarding order arrival obeying Poisson flow and general service distribution of single picking servicer as M/G/1 random service system, the efficiency optimal problem of manual order picking system is studied. Picking route stochastic model under random storage S-type picking condition is built. It makes model approximation calculation with simulation result under order random arrival frequencies. Well approximation between model and simulation results is obtained under the condition of permission error. The models can be used to deduce corresponding picking time distribution functions to calculate the indicators of the system. The conclusion of the paper is able to provide reference for the estimation picking time and waiting time.
