Abstract
A baseband transceiver using multi-level of QAM was designed to satisfy the needs in a wireless communication system. The design takes advantages of novel algorithms and circuits in the implementation of the forward error correction to achieve a BER of 10-12 while maintaining a small size, low cost and high-speed system
