Abstract :
In Wireless sensor networks (WSN) the main consideration is for the energy resources. Using compressive sensing (CS) number of transmissions can be reduced throughout the network there by decrease in the energy consumption. But using compressive sensing throughout the network will not reduce the transmissions efficiently. Proposed method is a cluster based hybrid method of using CS with mobile element, where transmissions inside the cluster are performed without using CS to the cluster head (CH), at CH data is compressed using CS and this compressed data is transmitted to the sink with help of mobile element. Sink after receiving the complete compressed data, reconstruction is performed at the sink itself.
