  • Abstract
    Many mathematical methods have been used in absorbing materials optimization on characteristic parameters, but none is efficient all the time. We believe that before optimization a thorough study of the object function should be done. We analyzed the characteristics of this object function, and drew some useful conclusions for the absorbing materials´ parameter optimization. These conclusions are suitable for the optimization of thickness, and the complex permittivity and complex permeability. Using this conclusion, optimization will become much more simple and convenient
