Abstract :
This paper proposes a new control free intercell diversity scheme based on the coded orthogonal multi-carrier modulation for a fiber-optic microcellular radio communication system. The proposed diversity scheme can improve the bit error rate and the frequency utilization efficiency performance in the presence of Rayleigh fading and optical link noise. Computer simulation results show that the proposed system can improve the BER
