Abstract :
We study two methods of synchronizing and detecting multi-carrier CDMA signals. The first method uses the Fourier transform and a curve-fitting algorithm. The second method is based on the matched filter. The received waveform is first sampled and a quantized. A fixed sampling clock can be used. No feedback mechanism, such as a PLL, is used to adjust the sample timing in either method. We analyze the performances of these simple methods for multi-carrier CDMA signals in an additive white Gaussian channel
