Abstract :
Coincident with the latest draft of the IEEE Standard 421.2 on identification, testing, and evaluation of the dynamic performance of excitation control systems, there is a need for application guidelines for new sections of the guide. This paper offers an overview of the new sections and how they correlate with model representations for new models defined in the upcoming excitation system modeling standard (421.5).
