Abstract :
In 1977 the Aichi Prefectural Police Headquarters Traffic Control Center introduced an offset optimization system which has a state-of-the-art traffic simulator and offset optimization technique. This paper shows the experimental results of the extended offset optimization system on arterial roads in the suburbs of Nagoya in 1998
