Abstract
In high-speed mobile OFDM communication systems, receiving characteristics are degraded badly by channel time variation. One solution is to rotate a circular array antenna so as to decrease the speed of the receiving antenna relative to the ground. In the conventional approach, antenna radius was controlled to match vehicle speed, but realizing a radius control system is difficult. Our goal is to propose an easily implementable system based on rotating antenna. In this paper, we propose a method which controls the rotational speed of an antenna to avoid the effect of velocity change. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
