            Abstract : 
We present our work on the design of a 3 DOF modular eye for a smart car. This design is specially guided by the requirement of facilitating the cancellation of the camera frame (i.e., the merging of the camera frame with the pan-tilt frame). The design solution and the vision principle of canceling the camera frame are discussed in detail with real results
