Abstract :
To study oil content and oil composition of Idesia polycarpa, six provenances was researched.Oil were extracted by the Soxhlet extractior.Seed oil content, fatty acid composition and the relative content were determined and analyzed. Methyl esterification of obtained oil were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS).The results showed that different kinds of oil content were very different ranged from 11.34 %–26.54 %. Henan provenance seed oil content was the highest (26.54 %), and Sichuan provenance (23.22 %), Hunan provenance (22.61 %), Jiangsu provenance(18.05 %), Jiangxi (14.74 %), Guizhou provenance(11.34 %).Ten kinds of different fatty acid were detected, including Myristic acid, Pentadecanoic acid, Palmitoleic acid, Palmitic acid, Heptadecanoic acid, Linoleic acid, Oleic acid, Stearic acid, 12-OH Oleic acid, Arachidic acid, all of which the content of Linoleic acid were the highest, up to 73.936 %–84.603 %.
