Abstract
A fuzzy engine has been implemented on a XILINX Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). The fuzzy inference operation is based on the mini fuzzy implication and the max-min fuzzy composition rules. The defuzzification is based on the center of gravity method. The parallel hardware design used offers fast processing capabilities and easy scaling for various numbers of influence rules
