Abstract :
Two fifteen-phase induction motors fixed on a single shaft is used in a ship propulsion system, and drive system of fixed joint motors with propeller load is studied in this paper. Fifteen-phase induction motor and propeller load are analyzed and modeled. Vector control system is designed, which can regulate the power allocation between two motors. Two working conditions of the ship are studied, and simulation results demonstrate that the two motors can work at equal or proportioned power respectively in four quadrants.
