Abstract :
Benchmarking has become an established industrial service, and business practice. The benchmarking activity presented in this paper focused on determining the best-in-class and worst-in-class for the areas of performance, packaging, reliability, and cost for power modules from several vendors. Critical success factors mere developed for all areas such as normalized FITS/part, performance efficiency, and part lead-times to determine the preferred suppliers for power modules
