Abstract :
Taking a group of high-rise buildings as an example, a method of using the wind power was put forward based on the measurement of its potential wind resource and the analysis of its wind power distribution characteristics. The arrangement of the wind turbines was developed according to wind resource distribution of the high-rise buildings. The wind power system responsible for collecting electricity generated by wind turbines and providing electricity for loads in the buildings was designed. The calculation of energy saving benefit was made. The calculation indicated that the application of the system can reduce the buildings´ electricity needs from the grid and achieve the aim of the energy saving and emission reduction.
