Abstract

A number of versions of images are created in image processing. We model images with image objects, each of which has its image data and image processing, and we support the version management of image objects. This paper discusses the manipulation of image objects and their versions. We employ CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture) for the manipulation, and thereby the network transparency of version management for multiple image databases can be achieved
