Abstract
This paper presents the design of a three-phase 100 kV, 200 kVA repetitive charging system and its preliminary experiment. The charging technique of the three-phase L-C converter with constant current was used. Before experiments the operating voltage from 1 to 100 kV, the rep-rate from 1 to 100 pps, and the discharge times from 1 to 10000 shots can be chosen, respectively, then the continual charging processes were carried out automatically in sequence.
