Abstract :
Dam failure can be reduced if sufficient information can be acquired in time and quality thus minimizing the threat to life. Experiences of dam operator being part of the organizational memory can be captured and reuse for future decision-making which is the essence of case based reasoning. The emergence of wireless technology enable the integration of mobile devices with decision support system application. This paper presents a mobile case based reasoning application for reservoir gate operation recommendation aimed at reducing dam failures and down stream flooding.
